REFLEXOLOGY MASSAGE

Duration: 20 to 60 minutes

Reflexology makes use of various reflex arcs between the top of the body and the inside of the body. While foot reflexology sees the human body reflected in the sole of the foot, connective tissue massage makes use of the areas of skin innervated by the spinal nerves (emerging from the spinal canal) to achieve an effect on internal organs.

Connective tissue or fascial tissue consists of collagen and elastic fibers and binds various body tissues together. Fascia envelops the muscles and connects to tendons, bones and joints. Internal organs are also enveloped by fascial structures. Tension, hardening, adhesions and adhesions on the surface can therefore go deep down and affect several structures. Connective tissue massage makes use of these connections. Each nerve that emerges from the spinal canal innervates a precisely defined area. Both on the surface (skin, muscles) and in depth (internal organs). The connective tissue massage works precisely with this effect: the increased blood flow to an area of skin that is innervated by the same nerve as an internal organ also has an effect on this organ.

WHERE DO THE TREATMENTS TAKE PLACE?
The treatments take place at Seidengasse 32/2 in 1070 Vienna in a wheelchair-accessible practice space with wheelchair accessible toilet and bathroom.
ON WHAT DID THE TREATMENTS TAKE PLACE?
The treatments take place on an electrically height-adjustable massage table with an adaptable height of 50 - 105 cm and a width of 80 x length of 200 cm and a maximum load capacity of 180 kg.
WHAT LANGUAGES DO YOU SPEAK?
German and English, if required a translator and/or assistant can be taken along.
DO YOU USE CHEMICAL FRAGRANCES?
Chemical fragrances are avoided wherever possible, although they cannot be ruled out in some oil blends.  Cleaning products are fragrance reduced where possible and care is taken to avoid intense and long-lasting fragrances in the practice room. If you have a sensitivity/allergy, please inform me at the time of booking.
DO YOU HAVE A COVID PROTOCOL?
The first appointment of the day can be used for clients with weakened immune systems, I will also wear FFP2 masks and use the HEPA room filter on request. The practice room will of course be regularly ventilated between clients. Please do not take appointments if you feel unwell or show symptoms of a cold or flu.
DO I NEED A PRESCRIPTION FROM A DOCTOR?
WITH A DOCTOR'S PRESCRIPTION. Depending on the treatment, a subsidy can be applied for from the health insurance fund for a therapeutic massage or lymphatic drainage with a doctor's prescription.  (5,40€ -16,90€)
In the case of a therapeutic massage & lymphatic drainage, the offer includes the option of a home visit.
